What's new

August 17, 2026

New

  • Ask Mentor to remember preferences, goals, or facts — it carries them into future chats in that course. Review, delete, or turn memory off anytime in Settings.

Improved

  • Practice questions adapt to your course — they draw on your chats, past attempts, and materials without calling it out. Redo focuses on skills you missed.
  • Circuit sketches use proper transistor symbols and clearer labels. Equations in chat render cleanly instead of raw LaTeX codes.
  • Long photo threads stay responsive — Mentor no longer resends every older screenshot with each new reply.
  • Privacy and Terms explain memory and optional feedback sharing — you can turn either off in Settings.

Fixed

  • Mobile Safari no longer shows the native-app chat layout meant for the installed app shell.

August 10, 2026

New

  • Opening a course puts you straight in Mentor chat — no separate Home tab. The workspace is full-screen with navigation in a Menu button while you learn.
  • Organize courses in nested folders — for example a degree and its courses, or a class and its subjects. Collapse folders when you have several.
  • Adding a course starts with a simple choice: nest it under an existing folder or begin a new one.
  • Mentor can draw circuits and diagrams in chat; Hebrew labels on sketches read in the right direction.
  • Queue follow-up questions while Mentor is still answering — they send automatically when the current reply finishes.

Improved

  • Course cards show your learning goal as the title, and Mentor’s opening question uses that name. Open Plan from chat takes you straight to the plan detail, and step checkboxes reflect progress.
  • Mentor Pro removes the daily chat cap so conversations can keep flowing.

Fixed

  • What’s New stays dismissed after Got it, and sign-in no longer loops between pages.

August 3, 2026

New

  • Send photos in mentor chat when a picture explains your question better than words.
  • Practice supports photo answers — upload or draw an image and Mentor checks your work.
  • Add audio or video files (MP3, MP4, and more) to Materials; Mentor transcribes them so you can study from what you heard or watched.
  • Rename a course from your list, delete exercises from Practice, or remove a learning plan you no longer need.

Improved

  • Learning plans adapt how many steps they include based on your goal, subject, and materials.
  • Chat history shows when Mentor is still working or has finished, with a badge until you open the thread.
  • Shift+Enter sends your message on desktop; Enter adds a new line. Disliking practice or a plan replaces it instead of stacking duplicates.

Fixed

  • Chats with images scroll and lay out cleanly — compact thumbnails that no longer cover your earlier messages.

July 27, 2026

New

  • Onboarding asks about your goals in a short intake chat — less form-filling, more talking about what you want to learn.
  • Tap Regenerate and the mentor rewrites the last reply in place instead of stacking another message.
  • Chat history opens on demand from a History button, so the conversation gets the full width.

Improved

  • Mentor chat stays where you left it while the reply streams — it scrolls when you send or switch chats, not on every word.
  • Typography and spacing across Mentor are easier to scan, with skeleton placeholders instead of bare spinners while things load.
  • Language changes in Settings take effect right away across the app, including release notes.

Fixed

  • Course setup no longer spins forever when discovery questions are slow — you get a clear retry instead.
  • First-time magic-link signups and onboarding no longer trip over duplicate courses or a prefilled name from your email.

July 20, 2026

New

  • Your first visit to a course walks you through Mentor, Plan, Practice, Materials, and My courses with a gentle spotlight tour.
  • You can keep more than one learning plan per course and switch between them when your focus shifts.
  • Remove a course you no longer need right from your courses list.

Improved

  • Your first session puts Mentor chat front and center while you finish getting started.
  • Learning plans update when you add or remove materials so they stay aligned with what you study.
  • Tap the magic link in your email and you are signed in — no extra confirmation step.
  • Cancel Mentor Pro from the Subscription tab without leaving the app.

Fixed

  • Pull down from the top of the screen on mobile to refresh your workspace.

July 13, 2026

New

  • Anyone can join with a magic link — no invite needed.
  • Paste a website link or drop files onto Materials when you want to add something to learn from.
  • Mentor looks over uploads, links, and chat for unsafe content before it reaches your space.

Improved

  • Magic-link and invite emails arrive in Hebrew or English, matching the language you used to sign in.
  • Sign-in and Why Mentor copy feel clearer; the comparison table is easier to scan.
  • Privacy, Terms, and Accessibility were rewritten in plainer language; Getting Started and mobile Materials got a polish pass.

Fixed

  • Public sign-in no longer skips sending you the magic-link email.
  • YouTube imports handle more caption formats and recover when a video is briefly blocked.

July 12, 2026

New

  • This page gathers weekly notes — what arrived, what got better, what we fixed, and what we removed.
  • If there is a note you have not seen yet, opening a course shows a gentle What's new highlight you can dismiss.

Improved

  • You can open this page anytime from the footer, next to Privacy and Terms.
